Structural Engineering Job Opportunity

The role of the structural engineer is a key component in the construction industry. Part of the wider discipline of civil engineering, structural engineering is concerned with the design and physical integrity of buildings.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
• EBK Registration is an added advantage
• Project management and communication skills
• Manage complex civil and related engineering matters
• Resolve design-related problems
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Review architect’s design development and construction drawings
• Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
• Develop solutions to complex technical problems
• Undertaking complex calculations
• Liaising with clients and other professionals including architects and sub-contractors
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and completed within budget and set timelines
• And any other duties assigned
